014#:HTB - Legacy
We blew through those last two rooms so let’s queue up another. Just hitting the next down the list and we are faced with Legacy from Hack the Box. I started the room with an nmap scan.
Similar to the last room, the most interesting things we see are msrpc and SMB. I wouldn’t get two Eternal Blue rooms in a row would I?
This didn’t work, but it did say it thinks it is vulnerable. I loaded up a different module and tried again. Sure enough this got us in. Some commands didn’t work and the folder structure isn’t what I expected, but we found our way. Eternal Blue gave us administrator rights so we have no problem cleaning up the two flags.
